Well done bread pudding is one of my all time favorite desserts and this Pineapple Dutch Oven Bread Pudding Recipe is a great treat. There are desserts that range from amazingly sweet to more gentle and fruity.
Pineapple Bread Pudding
- 20 oz canned pineapple tidbits
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup margarine, melted
- 3/4 cup whole milk or buttermilk
- 8 slices white bread, cubed
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 3 eggs, beaten
Drain pineapple keeping 1/4 cup liquid
In mixing bowl combine breadcrumbs, sugar, corn syrup, melted margarine, eggs, pineapple, reserve liquid, and whole milk.
Stir until well combined
Pour into oven and cover
Bake 60 minutes
