
Beef Stew Dutch Oven Recipe is an awesome thing after a day at the campsite. This recipe is the combination of several foods cooked for different amounts of time and the instructions guide you through it. The result is quite good.

Beef Stew
A hearty beef stew that takes some time to really build flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef, cubed
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup water
- 4 carrots, diced
- 1 tsp minced onion
- 4 medium potatoes, cubed
- 1 cup green peas
- 1 tbsp parsley flakes
Instructions

Brown the beef with cooking oil in the open oven

Add salt and water. Put the lid open and cook 30 to 40 minutes

Check the meat to be certain it is becoming tender before proceeding

Add carrots, onions, and cook an additional 30 minutes

Add the potatoes, green peas, and parsley, and cook another 30 minutes. Wait 15 minutes, check, add additional warm water to maintain around one inch of liquid in the oven

Check to make sure all ingredients are done

12 or 14 inch Dutch Oven. Standard temperature. You will need to add coals 2 or 3 times, be ready.
